The Tencent Effect is Happening and fast.

I have been a GGG supporter since closed beta.

But in the last few leagues you can feel the the direction of what GGG and tencent are moving forward.

These are the things am not liking so far. (personal opinion).

- Pew pew Skills.

- Super fast or go home meta game play in general (if you don't go fast you
will not enjoy the game.

- Leagues are more like expansions and not leagues. (they are trying so hard
to introduced hole new complex mechanics to the game, that they forgot that
people enjoy more the simple and little things. Like getting freaking reward
it for playing the game. Most of us simple want to kill stuff and hope for a
nice return. Why was Breach, incursion and legacy league so good?. Because
the goal was simple, go kill stuff and you will have CHANCE to get something
very cool.

- I feel GGG is getting pressured by tencent to deliver as much content as
possible as quick as they can.

- The Micro transactions Spams. Wow, every other day or week they introduced a
new thing to buy. i understand they have to make money but man if you pay
close attention this is becoming the League of legends Skins game but in
POE. And guess what both games are owned mostly by Tencent.

- Enjoyment and bugs.
I cant enjoy the game as much as before because of weird bugs. i play HC
only and when you die from a stupid LAG, freeze or mechanic that it should
has been tested before it kills my MOJO.


Sorry i had to rant but i really love this game and i have not enjoy the last few leagues. Sorry bad english (not first language).

bitching about skills in Synthesis when everyone knew all skills had the same gamplay few leagues ago.

GGG: Once again I am being attacked for presenting new ideas.

I feel like the only thing which lines up from a chronological standpoint is an apparent increase in the number of microtransactions being released. While I'd prefer that this not be a huge priority for GGG, the frequency at which I buy supporter packs is not decided by MTX they release, so I'm not opposed to having more options for how I spend the points I get.

If I thought the art team were working on MTX exclusively I'd be pretty concerned, but I feel like they're finding time to get work done on MTX without the game suffering from it. Can't blame the company for wanting to maximize the work done by the employees they're paying.


I don't like the clear speed meta but I'm not seeing how that's related to Tencent - and if anything, I'm in favour of Leaguespansions™. Their previous release schedule seemed overly restrictive - I want them to focus on what the game needs in the moment, not what conveniently suits an arbitrary schedule they set for themselves. Don't see the Tencent link there, either.

All that shit was happening long before Tencent came along...

The whole speed meta is the streamers', and no lifers' fault.
These people would cry every time GGG introduced something non speed related. So GGG being the cucks that they are started to please their no lifer overlords.

I have explained this already. Anyone who has any experience with large corporations have seen this many times. It's just going to get worse guys.

They are giving 3 implicits.. We need a big thread that constantly emphasises that "we dont need new op items" just harder monsters and new lore. Not power creep.

Maybe someday someone important will start talking about it. Like.. as streamer.

Of course there is ssf, but that doesnt stop the river flow to diablo3 speed meta. And we need main game to be slow and hard, rather than ssf fix.
