TheBest's ranger build guide [updated]

Sooo
Do you sleep? Or are you just 2 people?
j/k nice build man
Few questions here, please pardon that I'm a bit new at this.

1)Any reason not to get Blood Magic, it seems like there are some frivolous points that could be better spent there instead and with some little tweaking that could be worked in?

2)Are you working towards those Frenzy points, I see a few near you at lvl 73 that you could get to.

3)Thick Skin and Discipline and Training, any reason you got these if not for using Blood Magic or something of the sorts?

4)Any reason you stick with having the Summon Skeleton spell at even that level? Should this easily be removed if I always roll in parties?

5)If you aren't going with Blood Magic (Assuming if I do so I would also use Blood Rage) any reason you aren't using all of those Mana Regen/+Mana slots that are literally 1 away?

6)Any reason to hold on to Item Rarity instead of using it to get stuff you want further down the line? (Using Orb of Regret to fix those later on when it's unneeded)

The Item Rarity chance is nice and all, but it seems that it would be better to put them to use in being stronger.

Just want to make sure any changes I were to make wouldn't completely fuck me, but here was my plan assuming most of the above:
Intended

Would enjoy critique to changes anyone has and why they are bad if they are, again I'm newb just have played many games and going from my understanding, thanks.

i've never used blood magic and never tried looking for ways to make it effective. i wouldn't get it if you on't know what you're doing. i'm guessing you'd have to use a life leech support gem and try to get "life on hit" and "life on kill" mods on your items.

2)Are you working towards those Frenzy points, I see a few near you at lvl 73 that you could get to.

no

3)Thick Skin and Discipline and Training, any reason you got these if not for using Blood Magic or something of the sorts?

you'll need a lot of hp once you get into chaos

4)Any reason you stick with having the Summon Skeleton spell at even that level? Should this easily be removed if I always roll in parties?

i played solo all the way to lvl 66ish, then i played with one person in chaos.

5)If you aren't going with Blood Magic (Assuming if I do so I would also use Blood Rage) any reason you aren't using all of those Mana Regen/+Mana slots that are literally 1 away?

because mana isn't a problem for me at the moment.

6)Any reason to hold on to Item Rarity instead of using it to get stuff you want further down the line? (Using Orb of Regret to fix those later on when it's unneeded)

i got rid of item rarity nodes at around lvl 66.

The Item Rarity chance is nice and all, but it seems that it would be better to put them to use in being stronger.

3 nodes won't make you much stronger.

Yeah, surelly must be an horrible build.

TheBest only got to level 65+ during the open beta weekend...

Thanks for posting this.

One of my memories from the Public Weekend was frequently seeing a message like the "TheBest is the first to reach <zone><level><etc>".

Seemed like they were coming every few minutes.

This build must do something right.

You can try that out but it might not work so great for you.

I'm following this build pretty on the bar, but will eventually stray a bit.

Poison Arrows are great but when you need to drop something fast, it can be a problem ,the poison is DoT and when there's a room it's great for clearing out, but throwing in some lightning arrow can really break out the entire room very fast, faster than poison and save your life in the process. Split Arrow seems pretty good too, but also... different.
quick question:
which of the bandits did u side with? as in which reward is best for this type of build?
I'm lvl 20 atm and i'm thinking of helping with Kraytin for the resists.

welp, i didnt check the forums quick enough, i already finished the quest helping Kraytin.

Anyway how is your survivability without this quest, since you're missing out a lot of elemental resistance?

edit: just got this beauty

great synergy with multiple projectiles, clearing my way to cruel like there's no tomorow
