Sound Problems X-Fi Xtreme Music

Hi,
i have some problems with the sound effects. After installing the Game i never had sounds like sound while i cast some spells or drag and drop some items. I hear the fire crackling or the sound of the ocean. I reinstalled the Open AL Driver from http://connect.creativelabs.com/openal/default.aspx After that i sometimes have sound effects. I have a Creative X-Fi Xtreme Music. This Game makes fun but without or with sometimes sound effects it makes not soo much fun. | |

I solved the problem installing an not officiel Driver for the X-Fi. Now it works :-)

It has passed almost 01 year and the Creative XFI cards problem persists. Im playing the game for almost 01 year and still no sound. im getting tired of this. Can we have an official word from the devs please?????

Latest driver from January this year have you tried this? And the only unofficial ones a can find for X-fi Xtrememusic are here http://forums.creative.com/showthread.php?t=553341 which are outdated but last updated about a year ago have you tried using the -swa command line? -swa Forces use of generic software audio device and usually stops the bsod associated with creative sound cards
To use it right click the game short cut, select properties and in the target field you'll want " Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi
