Freezing pulse marauder help (Iron will) and passive tree

I am doing freezing pulse blood magic marauder using voll protector + IRON WILL.I use 3 40% reserve auras, purity, vitality and determination. My mana goes to 0 with them.

I am at this point on my passive skill tree.

I was planning going to witch and getting power node, then going to shadow getting all life and crit nodes along the way.

But them it hit me that each point i used in intelligence node was a wasted node (since i have no ES or mana), until I got to the crit/life nodes way over to the shadow.

Should i consider doing the middle path for life and + strength (which is immediate upgrade in damage with iron will and in life with +hp and +str) and after i use 16+ points in middle using my 16+ quests respec to go witch/shadow crit, life and power nodes.

Now i am considering going middle and then getting trolls blood on the duelist side, and not even respecing after. Staying with life/str purely
