health bars
Add the option to display enemy health bars above their heads. It's an option. If some people don't like it, they don't have to use it.
This option would not hurt anyone's game play. For others, like myself, it would improve the game tenfold - and we simply aren't going to play until the option is added. Sorry, but I prefer Torchlight and Diablo over this game right now due to this issue. To not add this option is simply asinine. Locked for general hostility. -WhiteBoy Last edited by WhiteBoy#6717 on Mar 9, 2013, 10:05:26 PM

it is not there by design.
i have no issue with them not being there, if things are not dying quikly, you are doing something wrong. have fun in torchlight, see you soon |

" This is part of the problem. Part of the design? So the game wants to reach a very small portion of the gamer community. Great business model. Have fun with your game in a year when less than a thousand players log on more than 3 times a week. #finalfantasy11 |

imo health bar only matters on though rares and bosses, where it is plainly visible.
i do not see why this is a big deal. its like complaining there is a fold on your free 100$ bill. |

" Why do you think such a huge number of people care about this? Youre acting like you own shares of GGG. If the game doesnt work for you, play one that does. GGG doesnt seem to care about pleasing everyone, which leads to a consistency in design that KEEPS players as opposed to grabbing a short-lived slice of every demographic imaginable for one-time revenues. |

No one I started playing this game with still plays.
You say they aren't trying to please everyone? Well of course, but they should probably appeal to a large portion of online gamers. I play WoW, LoL, SC2, D3, Torchlight 2, and Planetside 2 with a group of eight (including me) - none of these guys still play. Not a single one. I have 3 room mates, 2 of which were huge Diablo2 fans, so I introduced them to PoE. - Both played for about a week an haven't logged on in weeks. GGG is setting itself up for failure. The only ppl that still play are fan boys flaming people in the forums for even suggesting a minor change to their beloved game. For fk's sake people it's an option one can turn on or off -- how exactly is that a problem? |

I hope you are not playing Jayce in Dominion. That would be cruel.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

" 1. FF11 (being a game I play still) has far more then 1,000 people active at a time with multiple servers. Bottom line while the game is not mainstream and big $$$$$$$$ it is still successful. 2. you make it very clear that you play a vast majority of only mainstream games, i am not surprised of your issue with health bars. While im not against toggled health bars I cant stand the mainstream premise that they need to be there.
