Friends gifting keys in the future?

Will this happen in the future? Where a beta player will be given keys to give away to friends? My buddy bragging about this game constantly at school.

I though currently people that where invited to beta got Friend keys???

My trust worthy friend claims other wise, unless he just has not played enough. This may be the case, could a GM< Confirm?
