How does Commandment of War work?

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew exactly how commandment of war worked in regards to ranged bow attacks? I use tornado show with greater multiple projectiles. Will this glove enchantment make the imitation fire single shots (negating my tornado shot and GMP gems) or fire multiple shots at once(imitating the gems)? I couldn't find an exact answer on the wiki page and I'd appreciate the info, thanks!

Same as animate weapon, can't be supported by anything, just basic attacks. One of the worst
