If you open the page of the image you're trying to link and right click on the image you can "copy image location" *. That'll give you a direct link to the image that will work with the img tags, just paste it between the img tags and you're good to go. Sometimes with imgur it won't work because of the filetypes. Gif's like the one you're trying to link work fine though. If you quote this post you'll see the difference in the img tag links.
