Enemy Health Bars

I do not know if this has been brought up before, but I believe adding the option to turn on enemy health bars would greatly benefit the game. If i could turn on enemy health bars and names for enemies it would make tracking/attacking them much easier, especially in darker dungeons. Also when you group with people and it becomes aoe mayhem it is nearly impossible to see enemies. What do you guys think?

well you cant turn on enemy health bars in real life then again you cant make an totem+ice wall in real life eaither so it might be cool
Not quite sure how it relates to real life ...

Anyways i agree. I think their should be a small red bar above the mob to show its health, but it should also be a toggle option for on/off.

uhm yea not sure what real life has to do with this
Personally, I don't like the idea. They take away the gritty feel of the game. A part of the thrill and suspense in entering a room is in knowing that there might be an enemy waiting in the shadows that you can't see yet. Adding health bars would totally negate this.

well u should be able to toggle it on and off or make it that you do not see the health bars until the mob is engaged that way there will still be a element of surprise

That's a nonissue. GGG would just have to make sure that the lifebars are not displayed if they're not in view. Or, they could make it so that the bars are only shown if the enemy is hit.

I agree (they should start showing up when you first hit an enemy), and really like the idea. Especially in boss fights, it would be awesome to see bosse's hp without having to constantly hold your cursor over them.. Melee fighters are at an advantage here because they already have their cursor on the boss while killing him and ranged attackers don't always have this. Especially if you are a summoner, totem or trap user etc
This would make it more fair for all char classes..

I like the currently minimalistic view of the gameworld. No need to clutter it with health bars.
