Why everyone misses Niko and not Alva or Einhar.
" If they wait until next league, then keeping Alva, Einhar, and Jun equal will work out better. As long as the intel rate is boosted for Jun to account for her only appearing occasionally, it takes way longer to unlock a safehouse than a temple run and the temple run is going to be as or more rewarding. Four appearances of Alva and you're in the temple. Safehouses have to wait until someone feels like talking unless you just imprison every time and stuff the rank rewards. |

" i doubt there will be syndie in mainline. i HOPE there wont be. can you imagine getting +3 intel per every 20 maps? getting to mastermind already takes tons of farming, imagine how long it would take if jun appeared as often as other masters. it would take years. and imagine getting ganged by intervention after 100 maps when you dont know they even exist. shit, incursion gives you some items fast and a bonus map. bestiary gives a few uniques. delve gives you whole brand new game mode. syndie gives you what? scarabs that allow you to experience better content after weeks of farming? Delve is far superior to their mapping system and they know it. They will never make it easy to get sulphite or nobody would bother much with maps other than to kill the Shaper/Elder every now and then.

I think in the GGG offices they view the atlas as the endgame. I honestly doubt they want anything to change that, that's why the one viable alternative to that is so severely throttled.
I hope they change their minds, but I won't hold my breath...I've seen how intractable they can be with their design philosophies. What have you become when even nightmares fear you?

And its not all why. Incursions and bestiary are highly random and player really have no choice. Only visible of it. Delve have clear choices what you wish to do and when. And on what lvl. Players love freedom. Delve have it. |

I think most people prefer Delve because it is more rewarding than maps. You know what your gonna get, unlike maps, which is complete RNG.
I think if we get Delve as endgame, loot from Delving would have to be compltely kicked in the nuts repeatedly. To the point where running a map is ALWAYS more profitable than doing 3-4 delves of the same level. I do wonder, if we had an option to get unlimited Delving, but with zero loot whatsoever, how many people would still want infinite delving. |

" better idea: make delve give items with only delve relevent bonuses. like"+10 to darkness resistance" or " move 10% faster when moving through petrified forest" it would need to be reworked a little but could work |

Niko should trade maps for sulfite.
