Multiple Totem Support not working with Tukohama's Vanguard Spectres

Upon reaching Act 6 I was dissappointed to find the Multiple Totem Support gem not working correctly with Tukohama's Vanguard Spectres (TVs). The skill icon shows the support as being valid but the tool tip fails to show benefits/drawbacks such as increased totem limit, Totem multi-summon, or totem damage. This seems at odds with every other support gem such as Spell Echo, Multistrike, GMP, etc wherin if the Summoned Spectre had a skill that would be supportable by those gems, it would gain the benefit.
In practice as well the Spectres have neither have an increased totem limit or (to my knowledge) multi summon capabilities (I'll be able to verify that once I hit 61 and can test with Necro Aegis + Tukohama's Fortress unique shield.)
