I can't really speak much about the others, but I got my Glacial hideout on my 6th Iceberg map, while my partner ran many many more before I started. Of course I shared my luck with her :D Like I said about the others, I haven't really ran a load of those maps to really say. How do you trade this HO discoveries? What if you invite to your party, instead of paying the person just go in the portal and find it and leave...
