Catacombs Act 3 Trials of Ascendancy Bug or issue

I am stuck and not sure if its a bug or something im missing in game everything ive watched on youtube is the players go to the lever and click on it and it unlocks the door

for me I get the first lever it has two handles and you cant interact with it
and it will not unlock the door.
any help with this would be great
