Disconnected from Patching Server no matter what I do
I have been trying to get the game to update for many hours by now and have had no success. All attempts end as "Disconnected from patching server before patching completed. Try again". The Client.txt log holds no clues that I can see - the patching always reaches a different step and always takes a different amount of time(within a minute).
I have tried running PackCheck.exe and it reports no issues. I have tried a fresh download of the Installer and a clean installation to no avail - the same thing happens. I also tried using another machine, using the exact same internet connection, and it worked there without issues. My internet connection and installation appear to be fine and I'm at a complete loss as to what to do - never had similar issues up to and including Delve league. Since You have a working copy of the game on the other PC. You may try this, I had the same issues in last patching 3.4... I am able to run the new version on my work PC but not the one I used to play games.
So I copy the newly patched and working games, (All files in the game folder use a portable HDD.) from the working PC to my gaming PC. and it works fine from there. |

I have the same issue.
Just downloaded the client, and still can't start the game, as there is info about not patching the game because of disconnect from the patch server. Is this still a thing, or there is a fix for that ? |

I got the solution. It works for me. I have deleted all entries from windows registry "regedit" in console (search - path of exile) after deleting entries reset computer and that's all. Hope it will work for others. Have a nice day.

Removing all entries in registry containing "path of exile", removing game folder from the disk and some config file in MyGames folder and finally PC restart worked for me.

Sorry to resurrect a thread here but been having the same problem with no solutions i've found on the forums.
in the end it was the "killer" gaming connection tool on my MSI laptop interfering with the connection. i disabled this and now i can connect to the patching server hope this helps someone or can be added to the FAQ..... cheers |
