A Hobo Challenge from another land

ZiggyD inspired me to try and make games a bit more interesting by restricting yourself in some ways.

this time im playing ultima online on the server named UO Outlands.
this is the biggest and most successful shard at this time and i welcome you all to try this game.

the shard is just 1 month young.

the challenge im doing is about funding my own house just by murdering other innocent players.

what is uo?
its the mother of all games, kind of.. the spiritual successor to all the day-z and BR games nowadays.
its a 21y old full loot open world pvp MMO, the very first and to this day still played by thousands.

why?

because the gameplay and open world are unmatched, additionally the pvp is quite fun and really gives you an adrenaline rush sometimes.

you can place your own house or if rich a whole castle anywhere on the map, you can steal from anyone, you have a player driven crafting economy, you can kill monsters for loot or if you feel like an evil person you can just kill all the other players for even more loot.

the game looks extremely old and the first thing i was thinking when i played it in 2012 was "wtf am i doing here, this looks like sim city 1864 with a touch of pony farm" but then you start getting the hang of it, you realize that it is in fact a hardcore dog-eat-dog world and you delve deeper into a game that never seems to be predictable. everytime you step outside of your house a new story begins.

if you like ARPG's, try this one, it will change your view on this genre forever.
