Audio Issues: my own and enemies' attacks have no sound

I was having some unusual audio before the most recent updates (cutting out in town, super loud waterfall sound in areas that didnt appear to have water) but now its gotten worse. Just entered The Bath House and now there is no audio for any of my attacks/skills as well as no sound for monsters' attacks. I tried adjusting all audio options to max and reseting, and ther configurations and nothing brings back my attacks. Also there is still the disproportionately loud waterfall sound.

Its quite sad to me because hearing my attacks zap and shatter is part of whats so satisfying! lol also I was able to hear all skills as normal a few minutes prior in the Quay.
