Item vanish on disconnect

I took off my boots in order to chroma them as I was changing up parts of my build. I noticed that the boots were sticking to my cursor. Eventually they stopped sticking and were in my inventory. I tried to chroma them and I could hear the sound, but it wasn't actually doing anything. Shortly after I noticed this, I got disconnected. Upon reconnecting, I opened up my inventory in order to continue. That is when I noticed my gloves were re-equipped and for some reason my gloves were gone. I could not find them anywhere in my stash and they were neither equipped nor in my inventory. I relogged and nothing changed.
