FFXIV's free trial is a lot more generous than I thought it would be.

So I'm guessing most of you guys won't care, since I believe MMORPGs are much too slow-paced for most of the forum posters here, but I was surprised at how much FFXIV is giving away for free now. It's not time-limited, and it allows full access to the game other than some chat/trade/party/guild/MTX mechanics, and a level cap of 35. Otherwise, you get to experience 100% of the early game - all classes and jobs other than xpac jobs, but including the gathering/crafting jobs, all quests, and EXP boosting systems.

Very fun traditional-style MMO. Rotations & shit, beautiful graphics/world/music, gratuitous Final Fantasy fanservice, and best of all, Glamours (aka Skin Transfer) which let me really feel like I'm hitting the enemy with a sword/lance.

Baller.

May bump this thread in the future if I end up purchasing full game and figure out their referral system.
