Loreweave Chaos Resistance

I have chat with my friends about Delve, and while we know that some mobs very strong with chaos damage in Vaal Outpost after 300 depth.
So, if Loreweave Say your maximum resistances is 80% does it affect Chaos Resistance? Mb Loreweave would the best option with big chaos resistances on rings for mines)

It does, otherwise would state elemental resistances (same way that kite shield boosts max chaos res).

Keep in mind the heavy chaos damage vaal mobs do a mix of chaos/phys iirc (which is why they were so brutal to ES chars initially), so you want both if possible.

I hadnt considered it for max chaos resist, although i might reconsider using it with purities to reduce elemental damage further.

If you mean using purities alongside Loreweave, that doesnt work. Loreweave fixes your max res at a given value - it cant be lowered by eg minus max map mods, but it also cant be raised by purities or max res on gear/ tree.
