Why the revealed Delve map resets when we port?
I try to understand it, but it just feels absurd, pointless and CONFUSING.
In the whole game of PoE, whever we explore an area it remains UNVEILED, when we open a TP to town, and we return, it remains unveiled. But for some reason, in Delve it gets RESET everytime we leave for refilling our Flares/Dynamite/upgrades/whatever... or what's even more IRRATIONAL, it resets when we use the teleport pads inside the Delve, without LEAVING IT. WTH??? I am fine with it, that if we DIE or port out to Town that it resets, but why to hell it we have to reveal/explore the Mines every freaking time we do some action other than running by feet... I completely agree. I just lost about 4c and a ton of other currency because i left for more flares and came back and it was reset..

When returning to the mines, don't click the waypoint for the area you were just at. Instead, with your Subterranean Charts opened, click the upper left hand candle icon that you originally used to take yourself back to camp. It will return yourself to the mine with all loot and hidden paths still intact.

" OH! That's it! THANK YOU! I never noticed the Candle Icon that it also leads back to the Mines, always just thought it is only for exit to the Mine Encampment /facepalm Hmm... alright, but the porting within current Delve is still reseting the explored @ unveiled map area, when I ie. go from depth 15 to Depth 5 by using the crawler destination. The map remains the same, but the explored area I made is gone. Despite that I did not exit the Mines. In other words said: whenever I chose a destination that is not connected as next to my current location the explored area gets unexplored, maybe even reset, did not tested it so much. Mines are not really endless and static. They are working in the same way as overworld.
Organic chemistry is a weird thing. If you add a spoon of shit to a barrel of jam you'll get a barrel of shit.

" I am not sure how this applies to my topic? O_o Since I am not talking about some map reset after XY minutes being outside the zone. I am talking about an instant minimap veil, the map stays the same, just it gets hidden so you cant see it on the minimap. Playing for joy ♥

" but why? What's the point of having delve reset whenever I use crawler port, without leaving the Mines? One can proceed just in ONE DIRECTION and if you come to an dead-end or crossing you are basicaly forced to reset the map, because you cannot proceed w/o the crawler, so running back to the crossing by feet brings you nothing, since the Crawler stood locked at your final destination. but I guess it's just how it was possible to manage it from server side load-wise. In general, I just find that there is a HUGE LACK OF INFORMATION on Delve, and how it works. One has to do it by TRIAL and ERROR, or browse the web in hope he finds something usefull at least a bit, or create such topics on forum as this one. I would welcome if someone would make a simple guide for Delve, like how the mechanics work, what to do, what better not to do, how to proceed, what things to look for, etc. So far all I found was some rng basics from ZiggyD, but nowhere a mention about the map resets etc. Playing for joy ♥
