Spiritual Aid Question

So...there is a notable in the new minion wheel called Spiritual Aid. Part of that notable includes something from the Scourge claws- increases to minion damage also affect you. With the new Dominating Blow rework this got me thinking- if I link Minion Damage Support with Dominating Blow when I have that passive, will only the sentinels increase damage, or will my hit on the dominating blow also increase? The text on the Minion Damage Support is that “Supported skills deal __% more minion damage.” It doesn’t say the minions do more damage, it says the skill deals more minion damage...so it seems ambiguous as to whether or not it will work...at least to me it does. Thoughts?

Based on explanations in other threads, the "increased minion damage" modifier needs to affect you for you to benefit from it. This is the case with modifiers on equipment or the passive tree. Modifiers on support gems however affect the active skill gem(s) they support, not you. Thus you will not gain a benefit to your own damage through Spiritual Aid.

That makes sense. Disappointing, but makes sense. Thank you.

Darn, that is unfortunate. I wonder though, is it worth taking for all the minion attack speed we get. Would it be possible to swap to a different bow (not sure if any would actually be better) if we got the sttack speed we needed through that?
