Make Lightning Coil GREAT Again

Lightning Coil used to be considered the best chest piece in the game...

But now it's been left in the dust by other and more relevant chest pieces.

I recommend removing the -60% Lightning Resistance to make it great again. That is just way too much of a penalty to want to touch it these days.

Even -60% penalty removing will not help this armor. It is heavy outdated since Abyss league, when abyss jewels came. Now Lightning coil has no argument in any point. Too low armor for armor based builds, too low evasion for evade builds. Beside when it comes to evasion, Shroud of lightless outclasses it in every aspect and don’t require 6 links. And when it comes to armor - belly is much better.

With abyss jewels available 1-30 light. damage is silly, while 30% phys. damage taking as light. dam doesn’t change much. To recapitulate – this armor has gone through the classic PoE path “from treasure to trash”. Don’t think GGG/Tencent will reanimate this armor in any way. It will be left alone to be another newbtrap, causing stash to fill up even faster

it'd be usable with no lightning penalty it gives a nice chunk of reduced phys its just hard to justify when it puts a squeeze on the rest of your gear with resist requirements.

It's a good armor still hell I use it but there's several better options I just prefer it.

Personally just put it back to 40% and cut down the penalty -60 thing.
