[3.3] Full Fire Penetration Incinerate Ignite Elementalist

Updates
All updates will be posted here.

1) Spell Echo was mistakenly put into links for incinerate. Removed Spell Echo and replaced with faster casting because Elemental Focus removes the ignite from the final wave (Sorry for the confusion, mistakened Herald of Ash burning damage with the ignite from Incinerate).

Introduction
This is my Incinerate Witch Build for in the Incursion league. Essentially, this will be a guide for the build explaining all the choices made.

Pros and Cons
Pros: Very fast clear & Boss Killer
Cons: Fragile but still very survivable, face tanking is not recommended though.

Path of Building Trees & Gear
The following Path of Building link provides all of the ideal gear you would want as well all the nodes in the passive tree: https://pastebin.com/GqtVuui9

Build Breakdown
So one of the strongest features of this build is the amount of fire penetration (full fire penetration). How we achieve this:

Combustion Support - Gives us 19% fire penetration when the enemy is ignited by incinerate. This proc is guaranteed by incinerate because when releasing the final wave of incinerate is guaranteed to ignite. This extra bit of penetration given after ignite is very good for bosses and prolonged fights.

The Wise Oak Bismuth Flask - Gives us 15% more fire penetration with uncapped fire resistance being the highest.

Elemental Equilibrium (EE) & Flammability - A free guaranteed 50% fire penetration which is proced by the Curse on Hit Herald of Thunder setup shown in the gem setup as well as POB. When the Herald of Thunder does hit not only does it proc EE it also gives us Flammability which is another 44% fire penetration.

Mastermind of Discord - An ascendancy node which gives us 25% more fire penetration as long as we have Herald of Ash.

Celestial Judgement Node & Heart of Flame - Also provide us another 11% fire penetration total.

Some important nodes this build runs are Whispers of Doom, Elemental Overload (EO), & EE.

Whispers of Doom - Taken in order to allow us to get both Warlord's Mark and Flammability. Flammability as explained before is for fire penetration and Warlord's Mark is extremely important for sustainability as a witch build.

Elemental Overload - As a non-critical strike build this node is pretty insane and procs more often than you would realize and gives us an additional 40% elemental damage.

In this build, our flask choices are: Wise Oak, Dying Sun, & Atziri's Promise.

Dying Sun (Not required at all, expensive) - Extra Area of Effect

Atziri's Promise - Extra damage as chaos

Our ascendancy in this build is Elementalist which is insane. Shown below are the nodes we should take:

This ascendancy allows to get more damage with our Herald of Thunder because of Beacon of Ruin and gives us more fire penetration as mentioned before. As well as more Area of Effect.

Gem Setup
See Path of Building.

Items Currently on my Character
The items below pretty much reflect what you would want to roll on your items as well as the items you want to use late game. Obviously, the gear can still be alot better (Rings, Amulet, & Boots). The amulet can be upgraded to Xoph's Heart, the rings can have higher life rolls, and the Boots can have better rolls in general.

Nice build idea but 2 things I want to point out:

1. Why no fire penetration gem?

2. You neeed to replace spell echo in your links. It doesnt work with channeled skills like incinerate.

Thank you for the constructive criticism! I will update that now :)

Update: Updated POB & gems. However, did not put in fire penetration gem because elemental focus gem scales higher and there is already enough fire penetration.

Isn't Incinerate triggers EE also? When Incinerate and Herald of Thunder hits the enemy, the result is +25% fire and lightning res, -50% cold res.

Does incinerate still ignite if you use elemental focus?
Right, just fire.
if you are using Elemental focus you cant ignite, yeah you gain a lot of dps, but the major advantage of Incinerate its the ignite system backed in the skill per stage, if you put that, incinerate transforms in a mediocre skill.
A couple of notes:

-Fire Penetration does not help Ignite so it's benefit is basically at 50%. Would probably be better to run dual curse and EW+Flammability for fire resistance reduction.
-Immolation support might serve you better.
-No Paragon of Calamity means you won't have much fun with reflect maps
-Incinerate fires 5 times per second which means most of the time the enemy will be fire resistant making EE a dubious choice to run with it.

That is not how EE works. Herald of Thunder procs EE and the next set of elemental damage hits for the -50% fire res & cold res, +25% lightning res. After the damage is applied yes the result will be +25% fire res, -50% cold & lightning res. In which case either orb of storms or herald of thunder can proc the -50% fire res again.

Yes, incinerate will still ignite if you use elemental focus. The final wave is guaranteed to ignite regardless of elemental focus.

It is fine if the build cannot run elemental reflect maps. Please see my comment about EE before. I did not use fire penetration support. Combustion support does alot more for us than immolate because only the final wave will proc ignite because of elemental focus. Combustion support will proc the penetration because of the ignite and usually this is very helpful against bosses vs extra fire damage and mobs are dead way before the final wave.
