Skill Gem with Support Gem Combinations

Is there a good wiki page or other area that describes the best combinations or "tried and true" combos for a skill gem with support gems for new players?

I am not super new, been playing a year but combination of supports with a skill is often confusing for me.

I am tried various combinations using info from guides but sometimes I like trying out new stuff.
