FPS Lag and disconnect

Hello , I love poe but i lag to much this kills all the fun

im running on :I5-3230M @2.60ghz
Radeon 7650M
4gb ram

I lag a lot , recently the menu lag a lot and guess what in game its worst
and also i can never connect on first loging i will always disconnect then
should logging again, this sometimes happened during maps and lab which is annoying

Is there anything I can do with this setup ??

I have exactly the same problem. Internet and ping is fine, but never get in the game unless 2-3 tries.
And > 50% chance of disconnect from loading any and every map.

Same here. Constant lag and disconnects, sometimes very bad, like tonight, sometimes just kinda bad. There are threads all over the forums about disconnects, and it doesn't seem like there's every any answers worth much.

Consider that your system may be marginal, but even then, D/C is not what you deserve.

In my case, I JUST SOLVED my unexpected D/C and FPS issues.

Think it through: to paint a frame, you have first to COMPOSE a frame.
to compose a frame you must first draw resources from the pack/content file.
If you disk is slow, then you are screwed.


I traded a platter-disk for a Solid State Disk.
Problems solved.
