If you run straight at Sin you will get stuck and run forever, or well atleast try to run.
This bug is most likely known already since I have seen many run at him and gotten stuck. Last bumped on May 17, 2018, 2:28:57 PM

Actually got this in Act 10, and looks like you don't really get stuck. You can make your character graphical unit go walk away and it starts stopping sometimes, but you are actually still in front of Sin (your pets don't follow and you can talk to Sin, and you can't interract with other objects even if you walk yourself next to them). If you start walking backwards in that state, you will rubberband back to Sin.
