Stuck at lvl 85 with Oni-Goroshi / Reave build

Hi there, exiles.

I'm following this guide for the oni-goroshi reave/blade flurry slayer https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2072492, but I got stuck at level 85 in the tier 10 maps. Got almost all of the damage and crit nodes, but bosses one-shot me. I feel I should be dealing more damage and tanking the hits a bit more. Also getting the maps for progressing through the atlas has become a real pain.

I don't know if I need more armour, more accuracy, more damage or more life (or a combination of everything). Any advice will be appreciated.

No life in most of equipped stuff. And Abyssus what gives `curse` to +41 phys dmg taken..

Tho its already nerfed by GGG removed many rare monsters from maps with general pop nerf.

Why do you use mana flasks? Your silver can also get another mod.

Your gear can also get another chant. The ring is white (drop an alc on it) and the chest is still blue (use a regal). The other ring can get another mod.

Helmet can probably get another resists.

Use those crafting benches and mats.

Thank you for the answers and sorry for the noob questions, it's the first time I reach this point in the game.

My main char, the one I was asking about, is Zygular, the slayer. The other high level one, Macumazahn, is my magic find farmer with The Asthetic, which requires to have a white and a blue piece of equipment to receive the bonus.

So I get that the problem is the equipment, not the build itself. I'll look for stuff with flat life and put on Starkonja for the areas where I get too much agro. Also I'll try a setup with cwdt.

You can probably get a life chant on your gloves and amulet

You dont need leap slam and whirling blade both do you? You also have lightwarp in boots.

Frost blades in boots? Are you lvling that gem? If so put on X key

I don't understand why anyone would want to use that sword for Slayer. It's a one handed weapon so you're not getting any of the two handed weapon buffs from his ascendancy.

If you are dying a lot, first thing that stands out is the helmet. It takes 41% increased damage taken, get rid of it and find a helmet with lots of life. Same thing with the gloves and boots, get rid of them. You don't want energy shield, they should all have armor and/or evasion, with at least +80 life. Set up a better chain with your Ancestral Protector, you can go something like Ancestral Protector -> Splash -> Brutality -> Chance to Bleed. Get a Blasphemy linked with Enfeeble, that will help keep you alive too.

Your flasks can be set up much better. I did a Dual-Strike Gladiator and got to a level 88 pretty easily, tore through the tier 10 and 11 maps without dying. Part of it had to do with my flasks, I had mine set up like this:

1. Lion's Roar Granite Flask
2. Jade Flask
3. Sulfur flask
4. Eternal Life Flask with mods 50% instant heal and 33% increased speed recovery (I think)
5. Divine Life Flask

I had my movement chain similar to yours, except I used Charged Dash instead of Leap Slam, but Leap Slam is probably fine. I'd initiate with a Whirling Blade usually, get Fortify, then pop my first three flasks for defense. I'd watch my health bars and if I was taking slow damage I'd hit the Divine Life Flask. If I got in trouble and started dying fast I'd hit my quick recovery flask.

Whirling blade can get you stuck sometimes. It's nice to have a second movement skill that can get you across obstacles.
