Levling a Ranger without uniques!

Hello,

How can i fast level a Ranger(Bow) without any Unique?

If i use the +1 to Gem recepie on a spellcaster i get a lot of damage. Flametotem, Freezing Pulse... Really easy and smooth to level without any unique!

If i use the "Increased Physical Damage" recepie i never get such a huge damage boost.
The second thing is you NEED Pierce on your AoE Attack. So one link is reserved for Pierce.

The single target damage is really low to. I used Splitarrow(AoE), Lighting Arrow(AoE), Elemental Hit, Frenzy. I know they scale better with higher level but the levling process is so awful in relation to a spellcaster.

Does anyone use the "+Added Damage" recepie? Granite, Ruby, Sapphire and Topaz Flask drop only on high level (50+) more frequently so this is in low level useless. For crafting on high level i see no use too.(Would be useful to create a Elemental Bow)

What can i do to get more damage?
