Ice Shot/Barrage - Help optimize please

Hello!

To start:
I based this build off of this: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1955346


Credits to _maestro_t's build...-ish

I went onslaught for a little more survivability , seemed better with only a "little" damage loss. Having onslaught I thought I would gain a few more tree points, live longer, and perhaps be able to have enough skill points to get higher life.

The pros:
I kill most sh*t quick.

The cons:
One shot deaths
One shot deaths when "face tanking"

Few random notes:
I attempted shaper on this build once and failed. face palm.
I just today bought a watchers eye, see pastebin. Before I was using (2) "Omen on the Winds." Use the one twice in POB to see what i had.
Most things seem ok, I will die to regular atziri clones (you know the four) with one shot. If I don't melt them first.

This is what I would like better: (like everyone)
Better survivability.
More damage.

If you can see where I may have made a mistake with my gear, tree, life in general, please let me know.

PS note:
This is a fun build, but...
This was the most expensive build I put together, but if you don't count failing(8ex) to 6L my 1st QotF and having to buy one(8ex), I think I've only spent about 12ex, including the Watcher's eye. Mind you this is well into Bestiary.
