Crafting weapons

First of all, thank you GGG for a great "free" game, I love it still after many years.

I been trying to craft an Elder Bow since they was introduced to the game in Abyssal league, so for about 4 month now. spending about 500 + exalts in alterations and 20.000 chaos in chaos spam rage fury tilt. Goal is to hit the 170+ % physic and the t1 flat physical damage, making me a 470 pdps trophy bow, that are competitive with a 50-60 exalts LEGACY ROTH bow.

So far I have not had much luck hitting the t1 % physic and the t1 flat physical damage - or just 2 x decent % physical damage. And after each crafting session spending about 5k alts regal and a few exalts yolo I always scour and put up the 6linked elder bow for 10 ex telling myself it was the last time I would try. - next day I do the same and its been going on for 4 months now. - I need some professional help I know. - what can I do I am a born gambler and a liar to myself :-)

The possibility to hit the 2 x t1's with alt-aug-regal are probably about 1: 1000.000.000.000.
Then you need to exalt the hybrid roll to make a trophy - we leave out odds for this since its a dream and nobody live on mars yet.

My suggestion is :
why not make it harder to prolonge the game for people so they can craft them self to death. - and then change and introduce new mods after each league so not hitting was ok since it would be obsolete anyway. I am confident that it would please the few people who still try to craft weapons and still believe they can craft a nice one.

Could we please get some more tiers in resists, dex and strengh that are so usefull on a weapon. and why not make some more tiers in physical % damage ....like 1-10 % and 10-20 and 20-40 there is still room for that and people would love it.

Also - how about the game give a sound once you hit a good tier - so that you stop spamming the next alt. its a big pain to overwrite a high tier but it happen a lot when you are on your nr. 4000 alteration and your eyes are bleeding.

Overall the tiers and mods on weapons are a joke. Reverse the item level requirements so that it is not possible to hit the lowest tiers on a high ilvl item. Just as its not possible to hit the highest tiers on low ilvl items. Making it worth to try make your own weapon again.

times up, back to the game again buying and farming alts for my bow. I still believe in mission impossible.
