Menagerie: Sands crash (Saqawal?)

When trying to enter Menagerie: Sands area, the game crashes with a failure to display texture window. I believe the culprit to be my captive Saqawal, as there is a known glitch that crashes his roost. No other menagerie areas appear to be having this issue.
