Blood Magic?
What's the pro of using blood magic?
Does it combine your mana into your hp or just get rid of it completely? I see a lot of people decide to go for high hp and use blood magic in their ranger builds. |

is what tooltip says : you lose all mana, use health instead of mana. nothing is added to health pool.
the good side is you don't need mana nodes, just focus on life nodes + no need of mana leech gear, just life leech//life gain on hit. also getting lots of auras is easier since your healh pool is usually high (in compare with mana pool) |

the Pro of Blood Magic is it uses your life pool instead of your mana pool to cast spells. If you have ways to gain life on killing opponents, dealing damage etc...
I'm planning on using Blood Magic gem in combination with a Life on Hit Gem. This way my hit points becomes the mana pool for the spell I link those support spells too. You end up using HP to cast the spell, then the LoH will gain you life back to offset it, leaving my mana pool open for other spells/curses. |

You can also use the Blood Magic gem rather than the BM passive (which is what I do)
This gives you nice flexibility for auras I'm fiddling with me attacks atm, but usually I use Lightning Arrow - Lesser MP - Blood Magic - Life gain on Hit for AOE damage and Frenzy - Added Fire Dam - Faster Attacks for single targets Frenzy doesn't use much mana so is sustainable with some pots Aura wise I can run Anger + Hatred + Wrath which adds a nice bonus to damage But can also swap in vitality and or clarity as required IGN - LeNavetBete
