Should be only the spirit that kills it. (ie: last hit or strongest ignite, like you said.)
Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/657756 Last edited by dudiobugtron#4663 on Mar 6, 2018, 2:17:43 PM

If the monster dies to an ignite (as opposed to a hit from a SRS), the kill gets attributed to your character, not to the minions. Thus in this case no SRS gets refreshed.

hmm, so the this item is completly obsolete then with 40-50% lesser SRS damage.

" No? What "lesser" SRS damage are you talking about here? |

" The loss of fifteen Raging Spirits, mostly. There's other uses for Mark of the Red Covenant - SRS w/Melee Splash ignites everything in a huge area, which activates Immolate Support for you and your minions as well as fulfilling any other 'Burning Enemy' condition your build might need. That said, I'm not sure how valid MotRC is for a pure Raging Spirits build, no. Losing fifteen spirits is pretty frickin' savage, especially for an 'Increased' modifier rather than a 'More' modifier. I'd posit that MotRC is more a means of using SRS to support other skills, since you have to spend significantly less time casting SRS to hit your cap. She/Her

" Ah, that makes sense, yeah. I thought it was some "reduced damage" or something that I was missing, but the reduced SRS count makes sense. It'd probably be a solid choice with that "summon SRS" wand, if it had a fated version. I completely agree with your basis assessment, though. It feels like "make SRS behave like a more 'normal' summon ala zombie/specter" sort of item to me. Fire and forget. |
