What relevance would that have if one of them is playing the league and the other isn't? I don't play standard so anyone who actually does should have a far more valid opinion than mine even if they signed up last week.

First not everybody jumps on the new league band wagon as soon as it's out. This could be due to real life and or waiting for certain bugs to be filled out. And if somebody didn't like the mechanics and saw they were trying to change them perhaps that said person would have interest. I actually don't even agree/care if the mechanic is changed myself. Just love seeing league elitists who are newer than veteran players act cool.

Yup.

And most likely "Yes, more rare" will win since "Yes, more common" needs > 50% of total votes to win. Right now both yes options have roughly 50% of yes votes.

The league was fucking over since they released the trailer. The dead nets would give it a chance to have some sort of life.

It's ok though, we will just ignore the league "mechanics", make money, and let you "hardcore players" do all the catching.

That's simple: for the next league, add interesting content that doesn't break existing gameplay, and does not add clunky mechanics that will pit the community against each other in arguing about how to fix it.
