Spectral Shield Throw + Fork - Secondary projectiles don't fork correctly

I noticed something odd using SST with fork: It looks like the secondary projectiles from spectral shield throw fork off of where the shield exploded instead of where the secondary projectile hits. Should be easy to replicate by striking a wall with the skill. You get a addition "explosion" per hit with two more projectiles spawning where the shield exploded and another explosion effect. I'd expect the secondary projectiles to fork off of the unit that it hit? Either way it seems majorly inconsistent.

I figured out what's the problem. If the first projectile hit a wall, sub proj can't fork/chain.
I think it's because dev implemented it in a way that if a proj hit a wall it destroy itself and set it's fork/chain to zero.
Otherwise the first proj would fork on the wall and even chain to nearby ennemies (tbh that would be really cool feature !).
The sad thing is, secondary proj got affected by the zeroing of fork/chain too, which make almost useless to throw shield on a wall for dmg...
I recorded a video and it's true for fork, i'm not totally sure about chain and i didn't tried pierce interactions.
