What good are breach stones?

After not really playing much about halfway through the Breach league, I booted up standard to find I have about 10-15 Breach stones. Since we can not equip them, do they have a use anymore?

Breachstones can be used in a Map device to open a portal to a Breachlord domain. Breachlords can drop Breach-specific unique items.

it dose not sound like you are talking about breach stones as you could never equip them.
I think you may mean the legacy stones, those were equipped in a special UI and gave league mods. Breach = Legacy = legacy leaguestones can't be used atm, and as far as anyone outside of GGG knows, may never be used again (though GGG did not preclude them from ever coming back) Ancestral Bond.
