This happened twice to me today. These areas get created in Lava Chambers that can't be traversed without a movement skill, which I think is unintended. You can use a skill to get through the bars, but there's no door between the area. The first time I assumed I had missed another way around because I didn't full clear, but this time I cleared everything on the boss side to make sure it was actually blocked. Just had same thing happen. Cant get to the doorway to progres map as its blocked by a load of crap

This is a known high-priority issue (from the Known Issues sticky).
It doesn't make a bit of difference, guys. The balls are inert.
