" If bots manage in this system so well they will own any auction house system ever implemented. It's a lot easier to manipulate without having any human interaction element involved. If you have any sort of experience with any auction house system in any game you will understand what he is trying to say without any problem. "Never argue with an idiot. " FFXI auction house was (and still is) fantastic. Limit # of sales at a time, and it costs money to list it. Items fall off of auction house after a set # of days and have to be relisted. Of course, there is no real currency system in PoE so the entire argument is moot. |

" I'm really not that surprised if some people did manage to write a bot to automate certain stuff like pulling API data and automatically sending PMs, etc. It's really not that hard to code. Problem is, I doubt if I wrote something like that, or anyone for that matter. I still won't beat poe.trade live search in terms of displaying the newest entries as soon as possible, not with the new 60s API delay in place. poe.trade, poeapp are some of the very few sites allowed to do real time API pulls from GGG's server. So unless these bots you're talking about can magically pull data out of thin air, no offense, but I'm not buying the story. In any case, you don't need to have a bot to do these stuff for you, poe.trade's live search allows you to do the same thing. |
