kaoms roots dont negate tar and maybe other effects ?

When i step in tar /zombie's on death-effect or else/ i get slowed by -60% when i wear Kaom's Roots, while normally its -6% MVS.
Im not sure but i think this shouldnt happen because of the "`cannot be slowed below base speed" mod of those boots. Sorry if it turns out i misunderstood something and its "false alarm". Slow down for a minute to enjoy the beauty around us. Last bumped on Dec 25, 2017, 1:07:04 PM

There's some twenty threads about this non-issue. Kaom's Roots prevents Slows, it does not prevent Reduced Movement Speed.

Sorry, sounds same to me and it was kinda 1 of the reasons to buy those boots. :(
