Atziri's Trio bug with Abyss

Hello,

I was just doing an Atziri run (normal) and I saw that an abyss spawned inside the trio room. I decided to first kill the trio before activating the abyss. When I killed them and went to activate it, the abyss just drifted off into nothing(entrance stayed, but no cracks appeared) and it disappeared from the minimap. I first went back (as I think I saw it going back into the previous section of the map, since on the minimap the little green dot showing the abyss moving went that way), but there were no cracks. When I moved forward, just 2 seconds after entering the new area after the trio, the game crashed (unusually fast - sometimes when I have crashes it takes a solid minute to go back to title screen, this time it took just 3 seconds) and when I relogged to try and finish the atziri run all the portals were gone (I had 4 left)
