Ashen Wood map boss outside of map

The boss in the Ashen Wood map cannot be reached, but can attack and be attacked over the wall. It is outside of the map area as lightning warp does not work to reach the area. This happened in a run where the first memory fragment dropped, for additional info.

I have a screenshot with the map overlay and information but do not see an option to upload an image. Any suggestions?
