Belly is five Socketed and says that's the max amount.

In trying to Six socket my Belly of the Beast, and it is at 5 sockets saying that I can't use Jeweller's orbs because it has the max amount of sockets, when it clearly doesn't.

That is not a bug dude. Some armour or weapons have 5 socked limit. But you can make 6 sockeds using Vorici master.

Maximum number of sockets is based on item level. Yours is too low for 6 sockets to randomly roll.
