Spell Totem + Volatile Dead doesnt work against Kitava (Act 5)

That's the thing, i am actually using spell totem support + desecrate and spell totem sup + Volatile dead. Against any other boss or enemy, the combo works (now that i remember, sometimes the Volatile dead totem doesn't work but summoning again fixed that), but against kitava in act 5, only the desecrate totem works, and the volatile one... does absolutely nothing. I don't know if this is supposed to happen or is a bug, so i will post this just in case.
