I just plan to chill in my hideout so if I can get the game to launch I should be good.

" The processor is old for sure but it should be able to run the game, the problem i'm seeing is the 2 gig of ram on a win7 laptop Windows 7 will generally take at minimum 1 gig of that ram to run itself (maybe a bit more), the game requires 2 gig all on it's own (this is with a dedicated gfx card), you are running integrated gfx which will use the 256mb it has allocated to it and more from the system ram. If your laptop allows it i would add more ram, 2 gigs preferable, more if it can. Ancestral Bond. " All the errors I'm getting are video related, and supposedly shader 3.0 is required for it to run. It is not a laptop, this is a Dell Optiplex 745 Ultra Slim Form Factor and there is no slot for a video card upgrade. I don't have any ram and don't want to invest any in that, as I already spent $10 ordering a Q6600 quadcore upgrade over the E2160 dualcore that is in it. I plan to do a BSEL mod which will put it at 3.0Ghz OC instead of 2.4Ghz. Since I only have 2GB ram, would it run on Windows XP maybe? Not sure how to get windows 7 to use less. | |

Do you get any error when launching or any message?
Also.. Anyway as lagwin1980 said I think it's a ram problem since your GPU is integrated. You're left with about 1GB of ram if not less for the game to use which is not enough. When RAM runs out it will dump all of that on HDD. As your CPU asks for data it has to both dump more onto hdd while reading the already existing data from the hdd as well from RAM and iGPU Shared Ram thus you getting the crash or even the game being unnable to run. But even after adding more ram it's a big IF to the possibility of running the game on that GPU, since the game was released a lot of content has been added and it became more resource demanding.
