Rewards at league end?

Anything happen at the end of a league, rewards and such? New league open right away?

League rewards are given out based on challenge completion, and are granted during the league rather than at the end.

After the temp leagues merge into the permanent leagues, there is a period (usually 4 days) where no temp leagues are running. Then the new content patch is deployed, and new temp leagues begin at the same time.
