Tab key binding

I can't rebind my tab to maps or anything else :(

Important issue here, tab is confirmed to be unbindable. If you change your map key and want to change it back you're screwed.

+1 to confirming this, I could not bind Tab to anything at all.

While we're at it, could there be a chance of rebinding the middle mouse to something else? I do not own a mouse with a middle mouse button and therefore cannot use one of my available skill slots :C

It would also be nice to be able to set left click to do nothing but walk (or run like hell).

Sometimes you need to get out of a bad situation and left clicking an empty location causes the character to default attack the last thing you targeted. This is one of the more common and frustrating causes of death for me.

As a workaround for this, you can open up the PoE config file located in <User>\My Documents\My Games\Path of Exile\production_Config.ini in Notepad.

Then look for the line that says "open_map=X" and change whatever the X is to "TAB".

Would this also work for skills? This would be incredibly useful for us no-middle-mouse-button guys.

edit: Just checked, sadly not for the mouse buttons. :C

If you go into the production_Config.ini, which for me was located under c:/Users/<my username>/My Documents/My Games/Path of Exile, you can manually change your key bindings. I started to map them out by experimentation and then found that the table at the bottom of my post seems to be accurate for everything I tried. Specifically for the non-number keypad keys, /=111, *=106, -=109, +=107, .=110.
