How about, after defeating the shaper, you give us the ability to CREATE our own maps? Players could chose from: indoor/outdoor small, middle, large linear, rooms, open graphics style number of passages in area number of bosses trees/ buildings/ rocks monster class monster melee, ranged, undead, based on act map tier The result would be not too different from for example: running 1000 volcanos with breach. BUT it gives additional stuff to try, maybe you run some linear ones with passages and some open ones with rocks. Maybe its fun. I dont know if the technology is there, how much effort this would need. Maybe it should be item based, maybe just create an instance once. The point of this is: once you have your atlas shaped, you will not change too much about the maps you run.
