highly unstable ping problem

normally i have 50-80 ping on the milan server, but about a few weeks a go the ping started to be very unstable, it can randomly double, or even more (1k ping spikes too) i allready called my isp and they said that there is no problem on their end

Yeah, well, your ISP is wrong as the traces clearly show that your packet loss starts at your 3rd, maybe even second hop. This time when you contact them, make sure that they see your MTR results so they can't fluff you off. That is the proof that they will need to see that something is borked.

Also, your average ping is horrendous. Something is certainly mucked up.

Edit: One thing to try before yelling at them again. Cold reboot your router and modem. Turn them off and then unplug them for at least a minute. Plug 'em back in and re-run a trace. If the packet loss goes away, great. If not, yell at your ISP (for being a bunch of asshats and not helping you in the first place).

yep, i was pretty sure it was their fault, "we are going to have to redirect you to a paid technician" my balls, i'll try the Cold rebot, hopefully that fixes it, if not i'll have to bust my isp balls, or hopefully change isp since i'm tired of adsl, thanks for the help
