[3.0] Freezing Pulse - Crit - Totems (MoM with CoD)

Hi,

I started initialy with spark while leveling, and was pretty confident about making a spark totem build (like the old OP sporker), but after reaching maps and seeing how the damage output is very high but very inconsistent in hitting the enemy, i started to search for variants of the build so i ended up with Freezing Pulse

Please note that the Cruel Ascendancy - Inevitable Judgement - witch will provide us with ignorance of elemental enemy res on critical(we crit, a lot) AND Merciless Ascendacy - Instruments of Virtue - will be the focus of this build as it's providing us with 30% spell damage(after using a spell - we use orb of storms) + 30% cast speed(after using an attack skill - we use whirling blades for movement)

I`m gonna be quick and decisive in this build guide because ...and i can't stress this out enough...i`m still playing and ajusting as we speak.

Ok so here are the basics in terms of gear/gems/bandits/etc. i got so far.

You WILL need these items to make the build viable:

2 x First Snow Cobalt jewel (currently 1c each on poe.trade)
Using Lesser or Greater Multiple projectiles is NOT an option.

I got the helm + enchant with about 35 chaos, almost perfect life roll as you can see.
I`m aiming to 6 link my Cloak of Defiance so that 40% of incoming damage goes into mana.

Ok , so now for the..somewhat ...expensive stuff,to really make this build shine:
3 x Grand Spectrum Viridian jewel (At the moment they seem to be at aprox 40c each)(they will provide us with 108% increased elemental damage)

Like i said, i`m still playing the build, still updating the build as i go.
I changed the skill tree a bit , will update it soon. DPS changed to 130k per totem so 260k total dps
I`m thinking about adding Maligaro's gloves to reach 300k dps, but still trying to roll 3 blues on it.

As for leveling , like i said in the beggining of the build, i was inittialy going for Spark Totems, so i actually leveled with spark and later on with + 2 spark jewels (hazardous something ...forgot the name)
At level 70+ i started to see a bit of issue with single target/boss fights so i changed up to Freezing pulse witch was quit a good improvement in farm and single target damage...

I don't have a pastebin yet, but if i have time , today or maybe at latest tommorow i`ll try to put one up.

I`m lvl 88 now, still trying to 6link my Cloak of Defiance, only using Herald of Ice + Clarity for auras and i think my surviveability will have a massive boost once i equip my Cloak of defiance.

Late game content ....haven't tryed anything like uber or guardians yet, still wanna reach 300k++ dps and equip my cloak (because i`m scared of being 1 shoted)

Hey I was wondering if everything is still going well. I'm probably going to get started on the build sometime this weekend so any important updates would be appreciated!

All i can say right now is that it's uber viable (solo)tried it but forgot to record, and after that i gave up the build because i'm focusing on endgame content.

Pros- Very fast mapping , safe ...SH*T loads of shatter and freeze

Cons- Didn't manage to play it enough to go ENDGAME gear to try out atziri and shaper although i think it would be slow going as the single target dps seems to not be that great.

Final dps reached was 160k/totem , total 320k dps... clears tier 15 like a BREEZE...but bosses take a bit o kiting.

I started a new build now, a true boss killer/very slow mapper... to compensate this build, will post it when i think it's ready (probably when i finish with endgame content)
