Crafting a magic item with multiple mods

I have a blue (magic) dagger with Vagan hits can't be evaded. I multiple modded it so now it is still blue with two mods, hits can't be evaded and my multiple mods from Emerson. However I cannot add any more mods from any masters. What am I doing wrong?

I have no idea, because I am dumb nub. But, no one else answered yet, so my guess is:

It is a magic (blue) and cant have more than 2 affects (prefixes / affixes) on it. It already has 2 (vagan's and multimod).

I suggest putting a Regal orb on it to turn it into a Rare, then you should be able to access all 6 slots. Just pray the regal doesnt fuck up your craft.

If you have a baby you can sacrifice to RNGesus, that might help.
That makes since. Thanks for the reply. I just wish now that I had regaled it before exalting it for multiple mods.
If I scour it, not that I want to, but if I did, would it remove the Vagan enchant?

Yes. It makes it a white dagger with no affixes.

Ideally, for a multi-modded Vagan dagger you want a Magic dagger that only has "Hits cannot be evaded", then you regal, and hope for something useable. THEN you elreon "multi-mod" on it, then you master craft the rest on it. The reason to do it in this order is that if you regal a shit mod, it is gonna cost you a lot more to deal with it if you've already wasted 2 ex to add Multi-mod. If you regal before multi-mod is added, and the regal is shit, then you're only out a base and a regal.

This dagger, for example, was a blue dagger that only had "hits cannot be evaded", then it got Spell Crit chance from a regal, then Elreon multi-mod was added.
U MAD?
